Ide's Gary Avenue Gold began 5 years ago as a hobby between Jay and Cheryl Ide. As time went on and the number of hives grew, it developed into a brisk business and a full-time operation. Now Jay and Cheryl have hives all over Tulsa county and process over a thousand gallons of honey a year. Keeping bees, extracting honey, making beeswax products, and even fermenting mead are not the sort of business to get into just to make money, though. It begins with a passion for local products and flavor and a desire to build community. We hope you sense that passion and commitment with every taste of Ide's Gary Avenue Gold.
